Sold-price records come from HM Land Registry Price Paid Data. Local context may also use public postcode, EPC and police datasets. We show the source and date wherever practical, and we avoid presenting estimates as facts.

Our approach

We prefer clear source notes, sensible caveats and straightforward language. Where the underlying dataset has limitations, the site should say so rather than dressing an estimate up as certainty.
